God Is Good! All the Time!

Well, Team Tami pulled it off again! A big thank you to Danielle for pulling this together, and everyone else who helped and participated! Looks like we raised enough money to pay for the plane ticket home for Larry at Christmas! Almost to the penny! Thanks so much for your efforts and your love for Tami and her family.

Let's Kick back into action Team Tami

As you all probably know, Larry's best friends mom Carol passed away this week. Larry flew back to WV to be with the family. Let's pray for him during this time. I'm sure it is difficult for him.

He incurred an unexpected $400 for his plane fare home, so we need to help them offset that expense. I know you will all want to help. Danielle is working with Uno's, trying to set something up for new year's eve. She'll post more details soon. Stay tuned!

Come One, Come All to the Benefit Spaghetti Dinner for Tami!

We have recruited people from all walks of life to help. Pete here is getting started a little early! LOL
Here is the information regarding the dinner.

What: Spaghetti Dinner & Gospel Sing (Tickets $5.00)
Where: Hurricane High School Cafeteria
When: November 5, 2005 11:00am-4:00pm
Why: BECAUSE WE LOVE TAMI!!!!!!!!

An update from Tara!

Wanted to remind everyone the Spaghetti Dinner is coming up SOON! We still need tickets sold and we need volunteers to work shifts at the dinner. Everyone get involved in some way. If you can't attend the dinner ,sell tickets. If you can attend the dinner please contact me to sign up for a shift. We can come together and have wonderful day! Come out fellowship , eat, and listen to some great gospel music. If you need tickets please call 562-0673 . If you are wanting to sign up to work that day we have the following times available 10:00-2:00 , 2:00-6:00, or all day from 10:00-6:00. Hello Team Tami!

I want to touch base with everyone. Remember the meeting Monday night at 6:00 at the Putnam County Library. Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are available to purchase, or sell. Tara has ordered more, and they should be ready by Monday. You can get some at the meeting Monday, Danielle and I will have some with us at church Sunday, or contact Tara and arrange to pick some up.

Tami is so excited about the spaghetti dinner, she wishes she were here to sell, sell, sell those tickets. I don't know whether she is more excited about the dinner, or the fact that all her high school buddies are working together to help her out! It is rare that 17 yrs after graduation you see classmates band together like you have to help Tami! She is very lucky to have friends like you!

Hello All!

The spaghetti dinner is quickly approaching, and there is a planning meeting tonight at 6:00 at the Putnam County Library at 6:00.

We are promoting the dinner at the church every time we are together, and there is a list of people willing to work, sell tickets, etc. It has been difficult getting to the planning meetings, but everyone has set aside November 5th to help work. Actually, most all of us (Tami's church friends) are letting you HHS Grads do the planning, and we will help with whatever is needed.

Tara, you posted that you were going to drop off tickets at the church for us to sell. I couldn't find anything Sunday. Did u do that, and if so, who did you drop them off to. All of us want to help sell, and we didn't go pick up tickets because we thought they would be at the church Sunday. Sorry if we didn't understand. My daughter has soccer on Monday nights, but that will be over after this coming week. Let me know when you can get us some tickets. If you are in the valley, you could even drop them off in my mailbox.

Joyce Blake is heading up the Avon Fundraiser, and she needs everyones involvement also. Please post if you need order forms, etc. The deadline has been extended to October 31st. This one is obviously close to Tami's heart not only because it is Avon, but because she wants to deliver those puppies to the children at the hospital! Let's all get out and help Joyce make this one a success too!

Tami is so lucky to have great friends! Lets all work TOGETHER to make their financial worries go away!
